About Spirit Of The Forest Art.

Spirit Of The Forest Art & Photography incorporates the myths, legends and beautiful landscapes of the south west into her work.
She loves working closely with musicians, gaining a sense of where they are coming from and then using that knowledge to create album work or promotional work for them that really resembles their music.
Her main inspiration comes from the idea of creation, breeding, reproducing.

"I'd say half my work is inspired by natural beauties surrounding us and the other half has been heavily influenced by black metal and dark fantasies, blended together it makes quite a scene! I thrive off the energy of being outside in thunderstorms and feel refreshed in the rain. I love walking across the moor at night, it seems like a different world from daytime."

"I'm currently studying photography at university but I have grown to hate every aspect of the academic approach to art. I work from my own ideas and inspirations and reject the academics perspective of "good art", I will never work like a puppet being fed conceptual ideas that my gran could have thought up. My work is underground and will stay that way. My work will never be moulded to please anyone I don't respect."
